In November 1926, Tina Modotti wrote: ‘I accept the tragic conflict
between life, which is constantly changing, and form, which immutably fixes it in time’. A collective creation that, starting from a compositional cue, is enriched by increasingly radical improvisation: this is the idea behind the music of She’s Analog, three musicians who, together, contribute to creating a rich and coherent sound texture, blending the individual voices of their instruments. The compositions are like fragile, mutable architectures: structures full of suggestions that hint at an ‘other’, inner space. The very personal language of the trio is constantly enriched by the different influences and backgrounds of the individuals: contemporary classical, jazz, post-rock, minimalism, electronic music, all languages that interact dialectically, creating precious textures and opening glimpses into new territories, always different, emotional, never abstract. In March 2019, She’s Analog records its first album (released in 2020 on vinyl by Auand Records) with the technical and creative support of Dan Kinzelman and Renato Grieco (kNN). In May 2025, their second record was released on the French label Carton and the Italian Torto Editions.
With concerts in Italy and abroad behind them and recognition from the 12 Points Festival, She’s Analog confirms itself as one of the most original voices on the new European scene.
