Rodari Connection is the latest project by Valentina Fin in collaboration with Federica Furlani, AKA effe effe, Violist and expert in electronics and new technologies.

In a close relationship with the literary text, “Rodari Connection” is inspired by the imaginative and surrealist world of Gianni Rodari’s “Fables on the Phone,” a visionary of children’s writing whose stories, at first glance light and playful, conceal deep and existential meanings. Because they are simple, sympathetic stories populated by absolutely quirky and imaginative characters, each story allows creativity to run wild, giving birth to new worlds, opening the mind to imagination. Thus are born the original compositions written specifically for this ensemble, which combines jazz with a series of electronic environments that allow the listener, as in a fairy tale, to experience or rediscover their own magical interioree world.

The project began as a voice/viola/electronic duo and grew to a quintet. Project is supported and conceived in collaboration with WeStart.
