The musical universe of Daykoda – moniker of Milanese producer and musician Andrea Gamba – is constantly evolving. Between two albums and intense live activity (VIVA! Festival, NovaraJazz, Spring Attitude, Jazz:Re:Found, among others), Daykoda has developed an experimental approach to electronic production, combined with contamination with the languages of hip-hop and jazz, achieving a highly recognisable creative maturity and style. His work has been supported by national and international media, such as Tom Ravenscroft (BBC Radio), Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC Radio), Travis Holcombe (KCRW), Raffaele Costantino (Rai Radio 2), Nubya Garcia (NTS Radio), Lefto (Worldwide FM), Laurent Garnier. Daykoda comes with a full band line-up: a quartet featuring some of the most effective young talents on the contemporary Italian scene.
