Echòra
Luca Zennaro: Guitar
Nazareno Caputo: Vibraphone
Francesca Remigi: Drums
ECHÒRA is based on the idea of space as a living and ever-changing sonic environment, capable of influencing and transforming music. The name combines “Echo”, the phenomenon of sound reflection, and “Chora”, a Greek term connected to the concepts of land, territory and space, also understood as the primordial place of creation. The trio’s research develops through a dialogue between composition, improvisation and environment, giving rise to open musical structures that adapt to the acoustic and physical characteristics of each location. Improvisation becomes a tool for collective listening and exploration, also engaging with the presence of the audience. Particular attention is given to public and unconventional spaces, temporarily transformed into places of listening, interaction and sharing. Each performance thus becomes a unique, site-specific experience, in which space, musicians and audience contribute together to shaping the musical form.
